Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all trips, bookings and community activities organised by Yaari Express. By booking a trip or joining our community, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

• Travellers must be 18 years or older.
• Every traveller must carry a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, driving licence, passport or voter ID) throughout the trip.

Bookings and payments

• Your seat is confirmed only after we receive the booking amount and confirm it with you.
• The balance must be paid before departure, by the date shared at the time of booking. If it isn't paid on time, we may release your seat.
• Prices are per person and depend on the room type and batch. Some batches, such as long weekends, Christmas and New Year, carry a surcharge shown on the trip page.
• Prices include only what is listed under "Included" on the trip page.

Rooms and sharing

• Rooms are shared as per the room type you book (quad, triple or double sharing).
• Rooms are allotted separately for men and women, unless travellers request otherwise, for example couples or friends booking together.

Itinerary changes

Mountains have their own plans. Weather, snow, landslides, road closures, traffic, government orders or safety concerns may change the itinerary. Our trip captain may change, shorten or reorder activities. Any extra cost caused by such situations, such as an extra night's stay or alternate transport, is paid by travellers. No refund is given for activities missed for these reasons.

Code of conduct

We want every trip to feel safe and fun for everyone.
- Respect your fellow travellers, our team, hosts and local communities.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, discrimination or any unwanted behaviour.
- Illegal drugs are strictly not allowed. Drink responsibly and follow local laws.
- Follow the trip captain's instructions, especially on treks and during adventure activities.
- Don't litter. Leave every place better than you found it.

Anyone breaking these rules may be removed from the trip immediately, without a refund.

Health and safety

• Tell us about any medical condition, allergy or medication before the trip.
• Adventure activities such as treks, paragliding, rafting and snow sports involve risk. You take part at your own risk and must follow the operator's safety rules.
• Optional activities are run by independent local operators and are paid to them directly.

Personal belongings

Please look after your own belongings. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items.

Liability

We work with trusted partners for stays and transport, but we are not responsible for delays, accidents, injuries, losses or changes caused by third parties, natural events or situations outside our control. Travel insurance is recommended.

Photos and media

Photos and videos taken during trips and community events may be used on our website and social media. If you don't want to be featured, tell us and we'll respect that.

Community and talent showcase

When you join the Yaari Squad and share your talent, you allow us to feature your performance, name and Instagram handle in our community content. You can ask us to remove it anytime.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy and any specific policy shown on the trip page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
